The Leo Club of Bangalore Host Sindhi PU College, in association with Regal Hospital, successfully organized a CPR Demonstration and Scientific Session on 17th July 2026 at 2:30 PM in the college premises.
The session was conducted by Mr. Bibin George from Regal Hospital, who provided a comprehensive demonstration on the correct CPR techniques and explained the importance of immediate response during medical emergencies. Students actively participated in the hands-on training, making the session highly interactive and informative.
A few parents also attended the awareness program, adding value to the initiative and appreciating the opportunity to learn this life-saving skill alongside the students.
As part of the Leo Club initiative and in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Sindhi PU College organized a cleanliness drive at a BBMP Park on 8th June 2026.
A total of 32 enthusiastic students, accompanied by the Leo Club Coordinator, participated in the activity with great dedication and social responsibility. The students actively engaged in cleaning the park by sweeping pathways, collecting and removing dry leaves, segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste, and ensuring the surroundings were clean and hygienic.
Our college celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with a special assembly, sapling distribution, an environmental pledge, an awareness talk by an environmentalist Lion J Manjunath , a flash mob, and a rally. Around 60 students and faculty participated, spreading the message of environmental protection and sustainable living.
Sindhi PU College organised a visit to the Children’s Charitable Trust, Kothnur. The students interacted with the Children, Played games, briefed them with cyber security etc.
Our college students actively participated in various inter-collegiate competitions and brought laurels to the institution through their outstanding performance. Their achievements reflect talent, dedication, and the spirit of excellence.
The sports meet encouraged physical fitness and teamwork. Students participated in various athletic events. It promoted sportsmanship and discipline. Winners were recognized and appreciated.
Various clubs organized activities throughout the year. Students explored their interests and talents. It encouraged leadership and teamwork. The activities enhanced overall development.
The AIDS Day Rally, Human Rights Flash Mob, and Traffic Safety Awareness Program were organized to raise awareness on key social issues. Through rallies and engaging performances, students effectively communicated messages on health, safety, and human rights, while fostering a sense of responsibility and community engagement.
The Leo Club was officially installed to foster leadership and a spirit of service among students. Students visited the Blood Care Center to gain insight into the significance of blood donation and its life-saving impact. The initiative enhanced awareness and encouraged students to actively contribute to social welfare.
The college offers value-added skill-based programs that enhance students’ competencies beyond academics. These programs support holistic development by strengthening practical skills and preparing students for future opportunities.
